H. Dean Bouland
Managing Member

ean Bouland joined the Baltimore law firm of Fisher & Winner in 1978. There, he focused on civil litigation, estates and trusts, and corporate law. He became a partner of that firm in 1981 and remained there until 1992, when he joined Gisriel & Brush, P.A. At that time, Gisriel & Brush, P.A. primarily served as an affiliated law firm to The Fountainhead Title Group Corporation. With Mr. Bouland's energy and experience, he developed and expanded the firm to include many of our current practice areas. In recognition of his many contributions, Gisriel & Brush, P.A. was renamed in 1997 as Bouland, Gisriel & Brush, LLC. Following Mr. Gisriel's departure in 1998, the firm Bouland & Brush, LLC was formed. Mr. Bouland continues to expand the firm from its historic base as real estate title attorneys into such areas as corporate law, title agency law and compliance, civil litigation, employment law, education law, and estates and trusts. Mr. Brush retired in 2004.

Mr. Bouland's community involvement is extensive. He is the president of two charitable foundations and serves as a board member of a third. He has served Columbia Union College in a variety of ways. In the 1980's, he was President of the Alumni Association and served on the Board of Trustees. In recent years, Mr. Bouland again was invited to join the Board of Trustees, serving from 1999 to 2011.

Dean claims in jest that his greatest accomplishment in life is that he saw Hamilton. He lives in Baltimore and is the father of two sons: one is a postdoctoral scholar at UC Berkeley and the other is a medical resident in Roanoke, Virginia.
