Karen J. Fry
Paralegal
Karen Fry obtained her bachelor’s degree from Loyola College and headed to the West Coast. There she worked for The Executive Magazine. Karen completed the ABA approved and accredited certificate program in legal assistantship at the University of California, Irvine. She received her certification with Honors and began her career as a paralegal for the law firm of Lobel & Winthrop. Karen specialized in large Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. She returned to her native town of Lochearn and in 1988 she joined the bankruptcy department at Frank, Bernstein, Conaway & Goldman. Karen remained there until the firm’s demise in 1992. She joined the bankruptcy department at Tydings & Rosenberg, LLP, where she branched out into the areas of corporate law, civil litigation, real estate, liquor licenses, and estates and trusts while maintaining her practice in complex Chapter 11 cases. Karen joined our firm in 1998 and now concentrates in the area of estates and trusts.
